The Inception

A doctor's son who
never forgot his roots.

Born into the humble family of a devoted doctor in Cuttack, Mohammed Moquim grew up watching his father, the late Dr. Mohammed Nayeem, give everything he had to those who had nothing. Dr. Nayeem dedicated his life to serving the underprivileged, and he believed, wholeheartedly, that life was all about Society.

Bearing the torch of his father, Mohd. Moquim — right from childhood — believed in the upliftment of the socially backward, in helping communities lead a life with dignity, and in the holistic welfare of the state of Odisha. What began as a personal conviction grew, year by year, into an organised movement: the Moquim Foundation.

"Together, we can work for the betterment of our society. Once you are a member, the Foundation will help you — and you can also recommend the Foundation to help others in need."

The Foundation's work brings together support for the environment, women's empowerment, food and sanitation, and healthcare in Cuttack and adjoining communities.

Save a Life Today

One random act of kindness could be the difference between life and death. The most beautiful thing in the world is to see a child smile. The next best thing is to know that you are the reason behind that smile.

Caring for Stranded Workers

We took care of more than 300 workers stranded at construction sites during the lockdown — supplying them with food continuously for weeks, ensuring they did not go without a meal during one of the most difficult periods of their lives.

Food & Healthcare — Combined Response

Reaching every family that needed us most.

The Foundation gave food to slum dwellers and needy individuals amid the coronavirus outbreak. We distributed packets of dry ration to more than 10,000 individuals in Cuttack and adjoining areas, ensuring that even the most vulnerable families had enough to survive.
